A portrait session will go anywhere from 2 - 3 hours. Hair and makeup usually takes around an hour, and between an hour or two for the actual shoot.
Headshot sessions vary based on outfit changes, whether or not hair and makeup is desired, and so on. These sessions tend to last between 30 minutes to an hour.
It is my job to position you to look your best in front of the camera. I will direct you, even down to hand placement and expression while making you feel as relaxed as possible.
I love capturing portraits in studio. Whether it be seniors, families, maternity, headshots, bestfriend shoots, or professional portraits just because, I will provide you with the best photographs you have ever seen of yourself, or your family!
We will have a reveal session the following Friday or Saturday evening where you will see all of your photos.
This is the third part of our session process.
- The first part is the consultation where we go over all aspects and design / book your shoot.
- Second is the actual shoot day where you come into the studio, get fixed up with a local hair and makeup artist, and then have your photo session.
- Finally, we have the reveal session. This is the day you come back into the studio to see your fully retouched and finished photos for the first time! This is also where you get to decide the images and products you would like to purchase.
There is a $450 session fee to book your session. This covers your hair and makeup and reserves your date. This also gives you a $350 credit to use towards the purchase of photographs at your reveal session.
My printed collections start at $900 for 6 beautifully matted 8×10 prints and go up from there with a la carte options available. My wall art options start at $550 and go up from there with wall art collections also available.
Some clients spend $450 and some spend $3,000. What you buy is entirely up to you. My job is to take such amazing photos that you want to buy them all! There is no hard sell, you only buy what you love!
